"There is significant evidence that a higher fibre intake is associated with reduced chronic disease risk and a longer life. However, unfortunately most Australian kids fall short of their fibre requirements. Our veggie bolognese offers a double hit of fibre, thanks to lots of fibre-rich veggies, as well high fibre pasta. It’s also full of lycopene-rich tomatoes. Lycopene is a type of vitamin A, which, due to its antioxidant properties, research has suggested, may decrease the risk of developing certain chronic diseases. "
