Sticky Date Pudding
A little weekend treat without going crazy, made with dates, carrot, apple and honey drizzled with a raw-sugar caramel sauce – a yummy pud at the end of an active day!

"Along with nutritious apples, dates and wholemeal flour, we’ve included carrot in our sticky date pudding to add in even more nutrients. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene which is converted to vitamin A in the body. Adequate vitamin A intake is particularly important for children as it promotes good vision and plays a role in growth, development and immune function. Meanwhile dates are a source of prebiotics, which stimulate the selective growth of certain beneficial bacteria in our gut."
Caramel sauce (cream, raw sugar, unsalted butter), water, wholemeal flour, eggs, dates (7%) [dates, sunflower oil], carrot, apple, honey, extra virgin olive oil, cinnamon, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda.
